| Los Angeles
is said not to have seasons. While this is not entirely true,
the influence of the Pacific Ocean plus the mountains flanking
the city make the weather moderate. The temperature in winter
is between about 45 and 66 degrees Fahrenheit (7 and 18
degrees Celsius) and in the summer, the temperature rises to
between 63 and 76 degrees Fahrenheit (16 and 24 degrees
Celsius). There is a rainy season between November and March.
Those with asthma or other respiratory ailments should be
especially careful in summer, since Los Angeles's smog is at
its worst in the summer months. |
